founded in December, 2005, by Julian Bennett Holmes and Lucian
Buscemi. It was formed to put out a record, “Basement,”
by their noise band, Soñar. Since then, Beautiful Records
has released Soñar's second album, “Autoassassinophilia,”
and Care Bears on Fire's “Confuse Me.” It is home
to Fiasco, Care Bears on Fire, Jet Lag, Magnolia, Consumer
Feedback, L.E.G.S.Baby Battleship, The Crayons, The Machetes
and more.

is well-known for championing the indie rock movement in Philadelphia
and New Jersey. It his home to 18&< artist Eyeball
Skeleton.

Nothing to do with kids... We just love Magic Marker Records.
We love Tullycraft, Lunchbox, The All Girl Summer Fun Band,
The Owls, The Gazetters... too many to say.. they are all
good. We sort of used their site as a guide to make our website
- just like clean and simple. We hope we can be as good as
Magic Marker someday.
